Algus (my main) had his AOE damage perk busted (literally did nothing), there was no second elevator in the Ruins of Ash, and entire abilities would just randomly stop working for no reason, requiring saving the game and fully shutting it down. As someone mentioned, the Boots of Icarus is literally one of the only artifacts that has any effect - the Knight already has Banish and Morningstar abilities (and so does Gargoyle). I was pretty much 120% on board when I discovered that. That said, there is a Black Knight fight at the top. Glad I took the plunge after reading this thread. Ultimately the highlight of the game to me was its map, so I didn’t really mind. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it is oddly unbalanced. Algus being very powerful was a reason I held his upgrades back a little. Blew through this in just a few days because I couldn't put it down.
